David Letterman is a late-night TV show host/comedian here in the USA (New York City).
The other night he said,
"You know what they do at Jehovah's Witnesses' Christmas parties, don't you?"
"They get drunk and knock on each other."
There are many cults that are able to lure all types of people into their snare with promises of happiness, salvation and eternal life. Jehovah's Witnesses are just one of these cults but in addition to being dangerous they are also one of the funniest cults. The element of humor has to have some basic truth to it, with a non-expected punch line.
Since Jehovah's Witnesses do not in any way, shape, or form celebrate christmas, what's the setup?

Just shows how much knowledge this joke writer has of Witnesses, they DON'T CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS, LOL.
If people don't even know the facts why say things that just makes them look even dumber. Plus it's not even funny and they call themselves comedians.
The joke is on U, one can not help but wonder WHY are these people also the point of everyones fire?
Perhaps they really do have the right religion, as according to my knowledge this is what people did to Jesus to, and did he not say that his true followers will be targeted just like he was???

how can there be a sense of humor when there is none?... and so what if the comments are anonymous? would you say your full name and adress? no. neither would anyone else in their right mind.
Exactly even for a joke people should be informed, and is not just that JW dont celebrate Christmas but they have good reasons why ?

Sure everyone can join whatever CULT they wish to as along as it doesn't have a negative impact on society. JW's do not vote or contribute to charity works outside their own little group! Why do you think a number of countries have banned them.
Wow, there is alot of confusing statements here! The header of this page says that Jehovah's Witnesses are dangerous, yet later in a comment it is admitted that they don't get drunk, or involved in anything outside their group, so how are they dangerous!
